Treatment / Surgical Preparation Room
Our treatment room and surgical preparation area is where we anesthesize our patients to prepare them for surgeries, dentals and various other procedures. This is also where we treat our hospitalized patients.
Recovery Room
Our surgical patients recover in stainless steel cages or stainless steel sided runs (for larger patients). These cages also house our noncontagious hospitalized patients. This room is centrally located to facilitate close observation of our patients.
Laboratory
Our lab has the medical equipment for conducting a variety of in-house blood tests on your pet to provide our doctors with valuable diagnostic information, usually within 20 minutes. When additional testing is necessary, our clinic also utilizes an outside reference laboratory that typically provides overnight test results.
Isolation
Our isolation room is reserved for patients that may be contagious. This room has a separate outside entrance so that patients that may be contagious do not have to enter the main part of the hospital.
Exam Rooms
We have nine examination rooms. Each room is fully equipped with medical instruments and the most common medications our doctors use. A motorized weigh table that lowers to the ground for our larger patients facilitates examination of our furry friends.
Surgery Room
All of our surgeries are performed in this room. Our patients are anesthetized using Sevoflurane, the safest anesthesia available, identical to the anesthesia they use on the human patients at Tulare Regional Medical Center. Our surgical instruments are housed here in sterilized packs.
Pharmacy
“Our pharmacy is well stocked with the prescription drugs our doctors most commonly utilize for our patients.
